Song notes:

"Vanishing Point" is about about a "mechanic" of sorts who practices his trade on lonely stretches of desert highway.

It is the third song in a trilogy of "desert drive" songs.

Thematically, it marks the closing chapter of the desert & universe part of the album, clearing the way for the album's 8 minute plus, proggy closer "Cold Stream Guards".
